T5 help
Looking to upgrade that horrible three on the tree with a t5 from a 1986 s10 but I here people saying its to weak for my 1978 250 with offy intake holley four barrel and stove bolt header please help is this true

i would get a 87 or newer weeing its a world class but i would get a v8 camaro/firebird trans and the s10 trans and swop all the gears over. a v6 t5 will hold up but you will have to shift sooner
t5 is a real eazy trans to build its the first one i rebuilt

that trans will be fine behind that motor-i've seen 'em take alot more punishment then that!
