rear axle question
Why on alot of step side trucks the back wheels are never inline with the fenders?? is it a factory thing or bushing problem? it bugs me!!

they were not built for show//but if you load a ton or so of crap in the back thier location will move rearward somewhat

I always figured it was either:
since the bed was "recycled" from earlier style truck, the wheelbase might be a tad off, thusly putting the axle off center in the fenders OR the change to trailing arm suspensions on these trucks placed the axle in a slightly different place, again resulting in it being off center thats just a guess
