Changing E Brake
Has anyone changed the ebrake from the pull handle to the later foot pedal?
If so, how difficult is the change, at first thought it seems pretty simple.

I saw one thread here but I don't remember Who?
It was easy just cut 69-72 firewall patch fro a donor truck.

Thanks for the link.
On my truck, we've had to cut out both top corners of the firewall due to rust in the tray and air boxes. I havent gotten the truck back yet but Im thinking the hard work may be already done since my doner cab was a 71. Believe me, the link is correct---this is major surgery. If it requires more cutting and welding on the firewall (other than minor hole filling or relocation---its a job that wont get done. Pulling the old ebrake handle is still "doable". thanks again,,

I cheated:
I welded up the original wiring harness hole. Then, I cut the new wiring harness hole and parking brake hole. Then, I cut a little bit off the front of the pb pedal mount and bent down a small portion of the lip of the dash. I drilled the mounting holes front and back and painted it up. You have to cut a little off the front of the mount since you don't have the indention in the firewall to set it back a little.

Is it sturdy and look good that way?
Im still at a point on the cab where I can weld or make any mod.----Im just not going to tackle the major firewall surgery again.
