rubber floor mats
I'll be in the market for a new rubber floor mat for my low hump 67 soon.
I would like it too fit and look proper and not come up short anywhere. I see that the "truck shop" sells mats at a decent price anybody got one of these? are you happy with it? I've only looked in the catalogs I've gotton in the mail so far but does anybody have any other suggestions? It seems alot of you guys seem to favor the board vendors. I dont have any expeirence here, any suggestions here also?

Re: rubber floor mats
I'm not a happy camper when it comes to these repro mats. I have 3 of them that I bought from classicparts. (no brand name on them)
First one in my 71 and it fit awesome but started dry rotting less than 2 years in and now has cracks and tears. (yes, I expected a longer life span than that for the cost of these!) Second one is in my wrecker now but the fit is terrible! I don't know what they used to mold it but it doesn't fit the hump very well and there is about a 3/4 inch gap on both sides. Third one I have yet to install but don't have very high hopes on that one. That is for a low hump cab but will probably dry rot in the box until I get to it. All I can say is I sure won't be buying anymore of these. I like mats over carpet for trucks but don't want to be buying one every 2 years. My tires last longer than that!

Re: rubber floor mats
bob I have read about your troubles with them hence the reason for the thread since were from the same area some claimed its the climate.
the gap at the kick panels is something I really dont wanna see. somebody said it could've been a bad batch but who knows. I'm curious too know if there is more than one manufacture for'em since the truck shop has the best price in all my catalogs will I get what I pay for???If you know what i mean.

Re: rubber floor mats
I ordered my high hump rubber mat from board vendor Wes http://www.classicheartbeat.com/ and he was out of stock but had it drop-shipped to me. It came from Brothers. Wes claims the quality is good and he hasn't had any returns or complaints about dry-rot (or anything else). I just installed it so we'll see how long it lasts. The quality looks great & the fit is excellent.

Re: rubber floor mats

although I thought i would get more responses so I'm pulling this back up I have a rubber mat in it now but it looks to be something homemade and this is really the last thing i need for the inside i just want a correct and quality piece and its looking like the brothers mat is speaking for its self ,but I'm gonna ask again anybody have one or could speak up about the truck shop's floor mats? and how would I know if my truck came with or without tails
