Re: who's running a KP cantilever? experiences and pictures
My brother and I considered running this set up with his C10, but the 2 downfalls to it were the frame tends to bend where the bag mounts (bracing fixes this issue though), and the rear dog bones hang low, especially if running big wheels. Niether of these are real deal breakers, but he's going with the PB set up instead now...mainly due to the fact that you can't see the dog bones.

Re: who's running a KP cantilever? experiences and pictures
It's a nice kit and looks pretty cool. The one drawback that I see is that the bags are located pretty far behind the notch putting a lot of leverage on it. It will flex a little as mentioned. If you're going for cool factor it's a neat set-up.

Please don't misinterpret my comments. The kit works, and is pretty trick looking with all the mechanical parts.

I wouldn't bother going with an 8" bag.

I would look around see if you can find a nicer weld in kit for it.

The funny thing is I still have not heard anyone say they are using one?
I also have another question. Prothane Vs. Energy? |

Re: who's running a KP cantilever? experiences and pictures
I am running one with the Porterbuilt frontend. It seems to ride pretty good, never had a bagged truck b4. If Nate had his when I originally bought mine I would have just ordered it all in one place. Only issue I have had is with the notch for the drive shaft. I had to trim it, raise it up and weld it since it was hitting the drive shaft.
