interior pics of the Blazer

As promised, here are a few pics of the interior of my new 77 Blazer...gotta love the 70's!

I know the steering wheel is not original, anyone know what it is out of and whay years?

Overall the inside is in excellent original condition with only a few minor tears in the pass seat...the backseat doesn't even look like it has been sat in. Let me know what you all think.

...Jeff

Wow, that is one sweet looking interior. How much was that blazer again? I know you said it has some rust, but that is like a $5000 truck up in the Northwest. That steering wheel was available in the 89-91 Blazers/Suburbans as the sport wheel and it was the stock wheel in pickups from 88 until whenever they put airbags in them (around 94).

Thumbs up

That's a clean looking interior. You gotta luv those plaid front seat covers. Wonder if you can find some matching pants? LOL

Joe, I paid $2100 for it...worth every penny in my eyes. It has a little rust here and there, but nothing a few patch panels wouldn't fix.

Mitch, I kinda dig the groovy plaid pattern...you don't see them everyday thats for sure.

That is really nice! Good find! I'd have a hard time keeping the plaid seats though. Hard on the eyes.

I forget what were you going to trade Chris for the Blazer? I've got an Indy Hauler...

Joe, quit teasing!

Actually, I need a 73-80 2WD 3/4 ton (maybe even 1/2 ton will work) long bed to serve as a tow vehicle/light work truck. But I want one that is clean and not "messed" with.

I think Joe wants to sell the Indy...too many vehicles (shocker! )

I would like to have it, but it would just become another toy that I would have to find space for and i wouldn't want to drive it/work it since I think it is worth something and is actually a piece of history.

Jeff, I'm not teasing.

Chris, well, I think I probably should before I start spending money on it. I finally got the title deal all squared away. (NEVER buy anything from 'Motorsport5' on Ebay) I have four OTHER trucks I'm trying to work on and the Indy Hauler needs as much as any of them. I know if I don't sell it now it will be hard to get my money out of it, so yeah, I'm ready to sell it for what I have in it.

Jeff that's a sweet interior!! The sttering wheel like Joe mention is a 88-94. In 95 they changed to air bag setup. I love that horn button. I was looking for that one for my truck but couldn't find that one.

I got seats like that in an orange, yellow brown plaid in my Chalet.

Another steering wheel that looks cool and fits our trucks is out of a Chevette.

Ahhh the plaid seats...So tastefull!

The 79 Blazer we just sold we called "The Disco Chevy". The original interrior was red carpets and seat inserts, Whit door pannles and seat back as well as headliner. PO painted the door panels red and had the headliner done in red (thank god!).

Here is the original sales stuff on Blazers from 69-91.
