Questions about bumper?
This is the rear bumper on my truck. I have seen a few similar to it on other 67-72 trucks, can anyone tell me about it? Does anyone know if it was from the factory, did dealerships install them, anything? Does it have value to anyone? If it does, someday I might try and get it to someone who would appreciate it, if not I am gonna cut the ends off. No I am not trying to sell it right now.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Re: Questions about bumper?
I'm pretty sure that would be a dealer installed bumper. Sometimes they had their names put into the metal. If it has that it makes it more valuable to some people.

Re: Questions about bumper?
I wouldn't have any problems cutting the ends off that bumper, one tap on the ends drives them right into the rear fender.

Re: Questions about bumper?
I have seen that bumper and it was used to drop the tailgate all the way down for loading.

If you need it, it is a good bumper. Take a look here for some more info.
