Thumbs up Ramsey REP 6000 Winch on a QuickConnect Mount

I have a Ramsey REP 6000 mounted on a 2x2 receiver hitch type mount For Sale. It includes the roller fairlead, winch hand control, and 100 ft. of wire with hook. I also put a 'quick-connect' heavy duty block on the end of the power and ground leads.

I used to mount this on the back hitch of the Grand Cherokee for 'escaping' from the 'stuck', rather than going further into it. lol! It has had very light use and never failed to pull out the Grand Cherokee and it's cargo. You can use a snatch block and double the pulling rating also. The square stock under the winch mount also acts as a receiver hitch for whatever you want to plug into the mount even with the winch in place. Also, I had a 10,000 lb hook bolted to the side of the square stock so that you could run the winch hook back to the mount to double the pull power when you use the snatch block. In great condition, asking $300.00 for everything.

Thanks.

Re: Ramsey REP 6000 Winch on a QuickConnect Mount

I'll get a weight on it and then a quote from Greyhound. They are the cheapest way to ship heavy items.

I'll be back to you. What's the zip of the nearest Greyhound station that accepts freight down your way?

Re: Ramsey REP 6000 Winch on a QuickConnect Mount

Ok uncle,
the reason I use Greyhound is that they don't require a box. If the item is easily moved and carried as is, then it can be shipped as is. You really can't break anything on this beast. It doesn't matter with Greyhound,'business or residential', because you pick up the package at the station. If I build a box around it, the weight will go up quite a bit.

My zip is 19525. Will FedEx pick up at my house? Whatever you want to do ... if you arrange shipping, I'll do my best to accomodate you.

Thanks.

Re: Ramsey REP 6000 Winch on a QuickConnect Mount

Size is 24" long x 10" deep x 7" high, with an 8" tail sticking out the back. Without a box.
See if they will take it as it is.

Thanks.

Leads are the power and ground shown in the pictures with the Blue quick connect end. I'll have pics of the hand controller later.
Thanks.

Thumbs up Re: Ramsey REP 6000 Winch on a QuickConnect Mount

I don't know if I already mentioned this .... but you can pull a trailer or a boat or anything when this winch is in place on the back of your rig. I designed the 2x2 square stock under the roller fairlead to accept a 2x2 tongue hitch ball or hook, or pintle. The 2x2 stock I used is 1/4" wall. Yeah!!

Cool, huh?

Mounts on front receivers too .... yeah!!
Winter is coming .... where's YOUR winch??

Exclamation Re: Ramsey REP 6000 Winch on a QuickConnect Mount

As I stated earlier in post # 12, winch and mount have been re-conditioned and listed on ebay. Can't deal with people trying to undercut other members by PM's. If anyone is for real interested in buying this package deal, you can 'Buy it Now' or bid like everybody else on eBay. Fair is fair to all. If after the auction is over, it's still available, I'll re-post it here for sale.

Thank you.

Since it is listed on EBAY at this time, the thread is closed to avoid confusion. Feel free to relist it, if it is available at a later date.
