Re: Work Truck Picture Thread
Here's what it used to look like, currently under reconstruction, but will be my work truck and daily driver again when it's back together.

Re: Work Truck Picture Thread
I don't currently have a 67-72 truck dedicated as a work truck, but I have had many and plan to build more. I do work my '72 K2500,but don't consider it a work truck.

Re: Work Truck Picture Thread
I use my 71 almost daily and let it handle the big tasks since it's a 3/4 ton.
My 1/2 ton stepside did it's share of work for me too but is semi-retired. Here's my 71 with 1 ton of stone onboard:

Re: Work Truck Picture Thread
I guess my tow truck is a work truck. Just not the line of work I'm in:

Re: Work Truck Picture Thread
You guys have seen this one before.
Snow is a heck of a lot easier to move sitting behind the wheel in my heated cab. I used to shovel and/or use the snowblower on that driveway. That plow is one of the best things I ever bought. I should probably start bolting that stuff on again pretty soon.

Re: Work Truck Picture Thread
I used this one a couple of years around the farm. It had a L6 and an SM-420 transmission.
We are now in the process of building it with a 454 and the correct bed.

Re: Work Truck Picture Thread
I know this is a work truck thread, not trucks working thread, but here's my non-work truck doing some work. It's a truck and I use it as one,but it's not a work truck. I throw the ladder rack on with c-clamps when my work truck is down for service:

Re: Work Truck Picture Thread
And,since no one is showing any work trucks, here are some I've had. I promise one day before too long I'll have a current work truck

Here's mine earlier this summer hauling supplies for my antique milkshake stand. Freezer, GE fridge, counter, and a couple tables.

Re: Work Truck Picture Thread
I just got my truck running last weekend and as you can see I have already filled the bed with the remains of the rebuild.

Re: Work Truck Picture Thread
Here's my '72, I drive it every day, and use it as a work truck.
I lucked out and found it to be rust free. I suspect it was a California Forestry truck, as it still has a siren under the hood, and the plastic grill was removed and expanded metal was put into place. No plans to ever sell it, when I retire it'll be brought back to its original condition. Dark olive and white Highlander C20 Custom Deluxe.
