Firewall Question reguarding 72 e brake mounting
Does anybody have pictures of the way a 72 ebrake is mounted to the firewall? Both in the cab and out. The holes are not there in the 68. I have to make sure in put it in the right spot. I'm converting my 68 to a 72 set up. I have a complete set up including the right ebrake cable. It would be nice to get the handle out from under the dash. Thanks

Re: Firewall Question reguarding 72 e brake mounting
I am not sure the pictures I took will help much, but here's what I have. If you need better, I could go grab the E-brake pedal assy and hold it up to the spot on the cab where it goes and take a picture of that for you.

Re: Firewall Question reguarding 72 e brake mounting
You might have an issue with depth---
The 68 firewall is 1/2" shallower than the 72----look at the pics and notice the raised sectiopn where the e brake bolts (circles in red) This difference might make it difficult to bolt it to the dash inside the truck. Keep us posted----I have a 68 (and a 72 e brake that I might use---just njot there yet.)
