Need help with engine suffix code FSD?

I've been searching all afternoon with no luck. I have a1972 c10 and I knew the motor was changed out at some point. I found this code on the block. V1213FSD below that TEJ510427. I can't find FSD in any suffix code. Any help would be great.

Thats an odd one, I cant find any definite answer either. some say 80s 305 others say 90s tbi motor and other yet say crate motor. Can you look on the driver side just behind the head? there is a casting number there ad they are usually easier to find by the number when strange suffix # come up.

I'll look tomorrow. Is it on the front or back?

Re: Need help with engine suffix code FSD?

At the rear of the block behind the driver side cylinder head. On top kind of next to the dist should be a 7 digit number "3970010" or newer blocks will have a casting "GM 5.7L" newer crate motors have "HECHO EN MEXICO" also cast there. Let us know what you find. It may be covered in oil sludge so you may need to do a little cleaning.

See if you can get the date code.
FSD = 1984, 350, 160hp, LT9, 1x4carb

FSD = 1994, 350, 210hp, L05, TBI

FSD = 1997, 350, 255hp, L31, CPI
