Red grille trim?
I got an idea while watching a TopGear episode a while back, the original Golf GTI had a red outline for its grille, I think it'd look pretty sweet on my '71.
(not my truck btw) Opinions? |

Re: Red grille trim?
No doubt a popular look for some folks.... it's just not my cup-o-tea. If you like the look though, go for it!

Re: Red grille trim?
I always had the red stripe grille on my VWs. Might look good on a black, red or white truck.

Re: Red grille trim?
I'm planning on getting a gloss black like the truck on the left, but with the black grille of the one on the right. The bumper doesn't have the guards like the one on the left so it'll look cleaner. I'm hoping it doesn't clash with the chrome of the rest of the grille and bumper. Also looking at doing some LED running lights (amber halos inside light housing, maybe turn signals instead and put running lights on the grille) and HID headlights.

Re: Red grille trim?
This is a quick shop I did adding LED running lights and amber halo turn signals (I might just run fogs on the bottom). It's almost too much, I might trim the width of the red down to 1/2" or 1/4".
