Newbie from the Show Me State

Hello all. Love the site, been lurking for a bit and took the plunge. Just picked up a '66 long step that came with a '66 short step and a bed full of parts. This is my 4th (and 5th) of these trucks and love 'em. Look forward to gaining lots of knowledge here. A few quick pics of my lasted haul in:

The gold truck is the one I went after, but there was so much good stuff in the back of the wrecked shortbed that I wanted that I ended up dragging it all home. Look forward to posting more in the future.

Dave

Welcome to the site! What are your plans on the short stepper?

Thanks! Sadly the short stepper will be Chinese steel before long. Going to the crusher once I've picked it for anything useable.

Hey there. Welcome. Just get every usable part you can before it goes away...

Thanks! Don't worry nothing's getting crushed that's worth keeping. I'm even pulling all the bolts, fasteners and screws. The only thing that really isn't salvageable is the cab.
