Nice Craigslist find in MT

If this is all original, it's in great shape.

I was looking at that truck 2 minute before logging on here and seeing your post. If I didn't already have too much going on I would be gettin that truck.

Re: Nice Craigslist find in MT

That ain't to far from me. The lack of 4 wheel drive and the shortage of cash makes me want to stay away so it "accidentally" doesn't follow me home.

These type of pickups bring back memories of the way most pickups looked like driving down the roads of America in the 60's.

That rear bumper is so you can fold the tailgate down vertical for when you load heavy things the tailgate doesn't take punishment. When you wanna haul your livestock around you don't want them stepping on the tailgate.

Not sure how well that would function with that step though.

If I could purchase that truck I would never change a thing about it. Just hoard it and covet it and drive it (everywhere) cheers, Pat

Re: Nice Craigslist find in MT

I want it too but there are too many internet ads out there that don't represent the current condition. I'd be afraid that it wouldn't look nearly as nice in person or you have no title, etc.

Let us know how clean it really is! Can't believe the condition of the bed and tailgate from the pics. Doesn't look like it hauled anything but beer on the front seat.

Thats one the earliest built of the 67-72s trucks that I've seen, the engine build code is on the cover of the owners manual.

I doubt that is original paint but you never know. The pitchfork in the bed is a nice touch as well! For sure, let us know what you think if you go check it out.
