GMC grill assembly question
Two questions. First, do rivets go in the two small holes shown in the bottom photo? In the top photo do the clips attach to the yellow piece and the screw through the white grill? It has been a few years since I took this apart.

I believe they are all rivets. Hard to tell in top photo is that the strip that runs along the top part of the grille?

Yes, the yellow piece in the top picture is on the top of the grill where the hood meets.

I know on my 70 and my 72 Gmc's they were had used rivets on both sections of that part of the grille. Could be different on the earlier years but I suppose screws would work. Maybe someone else could chime in.

FWIW,I put mine together with allen head cap screws and nylon lock nuts.
