Re: Lokar Stainless Steel Electric Kickdown for 400 Trans
Jared, I can't tell from the pic, does the switch that screws into the trans come with it? Mine has a broken tab for the wire. I'm going to say I will take it, pending the answer.
Thanks, Mark

Re: Lokar Stainless Steel Electric Kickdown for 400 Trans
Hey Mark, it doesn't come with the connector but they are pretty inexpensive to replace. Check out this site, they have the one and two prong versions. They also have the detent solenoid that the connector connects to.
http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/...rts_s/5750.htm Here is a good description of the connector and detent solenoid. The carb/throttle stuff isn't applicable to our trucks. The Lokar electronic kickdown simplifies everything dramatically. http://bangshift.com/blog/bangshift-...nsmission.html

Re: Lokar Stainless Steel Electric Kickdown for 400 Trans
Jared thanks for the info. I will let you know if I want it, I have to check with the keeper of the funds. If you get a hit on it in the meantime, go ahead and sell it, as I'm not to the point yet that I have to have the kickdown switch.
Thanks, Mark

No problem Mark, let me know if you decide you want it.
I bought this to get rid of all the brackets and wires around the carb, much cleaner approach. Good option for someone looking for a simple TH-400 swap or wanting to replace a dead throttle solenoid or just want a cleaner look.
