drive line angle
Does anyone know what is the drive shaft angle supposed to be on a 87 short bed silverado.Its lowered with a 5/6 bell tech drop a flip kit in rear.Also where do I set the angle finder to get mesurement.I have a vibration/shake and want to rule that out.

If it is a one piece shaft, the two yokes should be at the same angle.

with a belltech flipkit they say use a 4 degree pinion shim

Basically you want the u joint working angles to be between 1 and 3 degrees (under load), and such that the front joint cancels out (is equal and opposite) the rear joint. K

Thanks for the information.I set the rear of the truck on jack stands and spun the wheels and it seems like I have a tire that has a wooble or maybe a flat spot or bent rim..Im going to dismount tire and make sure rim is not bent.The shake/vibration starts at about 50mph and gets worse from thier.I let out of the throttle and its still their untill I get under 50mph.

That sounds like a tire.
Driveline usually gets worse to a point, and then better as you increase speed. That's because the mass of the driveline doesn't have enough energy to drive a vibration throughout the whole truck without the multiplication factor of the resonance. Driveline is also always torque dependent so you should be able to make it worse and better by tipping in and out of the throttle. Tires - they're just bad. All the time (lol) - until you get below a certain speed. K
