Frame boxing on a bagged 86 swb?

Should I just buy a kit made for off-road or are the focused on different stress pionts? Pictures would help too.

I would box the rear half of the frame at least.

but I'm also curious about the bed touching the cab, and keeping the panels straight

i had and or worked on many sqaures and we dont box the frame. my current 84 cc dually is "boxed" only because i ran new 3x3 or 3x4 rails, (i dont remember what size now)

Bagged? Because I figured 1/2 will be pretty fast

Re: Frame boxing on a bagged 86 swb?

your question was should you box the frame. i replied i have built/owned many squares that were all bagged and or bodied and never boxed any of their frames, except my current cc dually, which i ran new frame rails on.

1/2 line/valves will be "fast" whatever "fast" is to you. i run my dually at 200psi and it raises the front form ground to full up around .25 sec.

been building bagged cars/trucks since before we were using airbags.

back in the old days we cranked the torsion bars and used air shocks.

Well to make a long story short the biggest thing that I'm worried about is the frame flexing the truck bed to to cab
