72 Cheyenne Super, shoulda left it alone...
Ad says it was originally a lwb truck, now swb. I wonder if that means the frame was cut. SPID list interior as parchmnet, obviously not any more. AM FM listed is gone, and no eblems on ps fender... Matching #'s 350, protecto plate, original black truck... I think I would have restored it back to original.
http://www.redlinemusclecarswilson.c...-73463/4068671 My brother has a black with black interior 72 Cheyenne w/ black interior, BB400 engine, TH400, tilt wheel, AC that my uncle bought new. We restored it back to original with the exception of adding a tach to the original cluster. It still has the original seat cover. (!) |

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super, shoulda left it alone...
It's gorgeous, but I'm with ya wideside. I'd have left it alone. Interesting combo as it was - a super (for which it is now missing the emblems...) and parchment interior. And it wasn't original buckets, yet it's not listed as parchment deluxe or whatever the wording would have been for parchment houndstooth on a super with a bench. interesting. But that red with black interior really POPS, I have to admit. But considering an original super and the amount of money and time that went into it, most folks don't choose to leave off the "super" emblems when they're warranted, it's usually the other way around.

Nice truck. When you consider Counting Cars sold a LWB truck, nowhere near the caliber of this truck for $17K (I know, reality show bs, but John Q Public buys into it) I think he will get his asking price or very close to it. Too bad it's not a big block...hehe!
