Solid paint Cheyennes and CST's

Anyone have pictures of a solid paint, stockish '71-72 K20 Cheyenne without the belt molding but has the lower woodgrain. Prefer 523 Dark Blue 519 Dark Yellow or 505 Dark Green but would love to see any. Profiles would be best and C20s or C30s are of course welcome too.

Re: Solid paint Cheyennes

My '72 was the factory 523, but had the belt moulding. Now it's primer with no moulding.

Re: Solid paint Cheyennes

Thanks for the pictures so far! More are welcome. It is interesting how few Cheyennes seem to be solid without a belt molding. Myself I really like the look.

vectorit, Chris what happened tp your post? That picture of Landsurvey1's truck has been a longtime favorite.

special-K, Tim a picture of your GMC is always welcome.

whoryou1979, Tim are you going back with the 523?

Joesjunk, Beautiful truck! That Dark Olive is a great color and a solid with white DG5 mirrors nice as it is just really won't work for me.

Yea, Landsurvey1's rig is one of my favorites as well.
I posted a pic of it, and saw that it had a white roof. So I figured it didn't need to be here, since your question was on "solid color" rigs.

Anywhoo, since we are talking about it. Here is a pic of Landsurvey1's awesome '72 K20.

I wasn't, but after seeing one with black interior I decided to. I like the blue on black with the woodgrain trim.

I have some old pics of my first 72. It was a solid blue but it had both sets of trim. I will dig them out and post some pics.

Solid color Cheyenne, with almost all the lower molding. Last piece is still in the garage.

Sorry,I'm afraid you've listed all I know about that truck other than 9.75 x 16.5 wheels. I really like it,too! This is how I remember them (and ran them). l this scrambling and forking out huge money for original hub caps and they look fantastic with none!
