Dana 60 Rear W/ Power Loc Posi
Dana 60 rear end, two piece power loc posi (the rebuildable one) good clutches, 4.10 gears, everything looks good inside $400. Pick up only. IMO, it looks to have been rebuilt not long ago, clutches feel real good, and they went to a lot of trouble to paint the entire housing. I have this for sale locally as well. Greg

Re: Dana 60 Rear W/ Power Loc Posi
Wow ! Why couldn't this be for a coil spring truck and with 3.73or 3.42 gears? I would be all over it.

Re: Dana 60 Rear W/ Power Loc Posi
Greg is this for a 2wd or 4wd? The perches look like 2wd. Thanks, Dan

Re: Dana 60 Rear W/ Power Loc Posi
It's from an 8 lug 3/4 ton 2wd truck, the one I'm currently parting in another thread. Am I way off on the price? This is the first one I've had, so I had to do some searching to figure out some kind of value. This would work in a 4wd?
Thanks, Greg |

Re: Dana 60 Rear W/ Power Loc Posi
That's a decent complete/bolt-in posi axle price for someone needing just that (or even moving spring perches for 4wd). For someone wanted it just for the posi or another ratio it wouldn't be worth it,especially considering the labor required. I was hoping for a 6-lug and really need a coil-type.

Re: Dana 60 Rear W/ Power Loc Posi
Sorry about the shipping everyone. I can get it banded to a pallet if someone want's to work out their own shipping and pick up. We can probably arrange it to be picked up from my work where there will be a fork lift available for loading. Best I can do. Greg

Re: Dana 60 Rear W/ Power Loc Posi
Hey Greg,...looking at the pictures on the ring gear what you have is a 3.73 ratio. Meaning 41 teeth on the ring gear and 10 teeth on the pinion gear. A 4.11 ratio has 37 and 9. Hope this helps and good luck with the sale!

Re: Dana 60 Rear W/ Power Loc Posi
Sorry Greg,.. I looked at it wrong. You do have a 4.11 gear. My eyes and math aren't what they use to be! I'm getting over the flu so that may have had a little to do with also. A 37 ring gear and 9 pinion is also a 4.11 ratio. Anyway...goodluck with it!!
