Part ID
Can anyone help me out with what these two clips are used for? They are about 1" tall.
I started restoring a 1972 C10 several years ago and am just getting back to it and I don't have any specific pictures to jog my memory. I believe they are either used as part of the hydraulic brake system or the E-brake system, but am not sure. Thanks. |

Agree. They secure the brake cables to the trailing arms.

Thanks for the replies. I am assuming then they go in front of the bracket that's attached to the trailing arms to secure the cable in the bracket. I'll take a closer look when I get a chance.

I have also seen similar looking clips used on top of the retaining nut for a steering wheel...I guess it keeps the nut from backing off?
