6 cyl power steering bracket pics
I have had a several requests for pics of my 6 cyl power steering pump and bracket, so instead of trying to email them all I have decided to just put them in a thread for everyone.
I have the period correct pump and brackets, the later non-intergrated head style, and the later intergrated head style. So I will start with what I have on mine which is a later intergrated head style that I cut and made fit which is actually really easy.

Re: 6 cyl power steering bracket pics
to use the later intergrated on piece head and intake style all you need to do is trim part of the bracket off that bolts to the head... I have marked this on my intergrated head pump pics.

Re: 6 cyl power steering bracket pics
I assume this all pertains to just the 250 6-cylinders?
The 292 stuff is different.

The others are off 250 engines I think the 292 will fit the 250 but I am not 100% sure, I know the 292 has a notch out of it for the bypass hose but that wouldn't keep it from fitting the 250.

Re: 6 cyl power steering bracket pics
I see you have a 3 groove water pump pulley, does that mean a different water pump?
my motor has a 2 groove and I thought thats what was needed....

Re: 6 cyl power steering bracket pics
The intergrated head style pump and brackets use an extra seperate pulley on the waterpump and crankshaft. I will post up some better pics of the pulleys

Re: 6 cyl power steering bracket pics
there's a speed shop on eBay that makes power steering and alternator brackets for the 292 motor.
