Re: medium olive and white lwb 72

My med. olive & white '70 Custom Camper has white rocker panels (beneath the lower trim)- all of the rigs I'm seeing only have white on the roof and pillars. Did they ever spray the rockers white from the factory?

There were three different Two-Tones available in '70. "Conventional" with a white roof and "Special Two-Tone" that added white rockers. Staying only in the greens here, there were also green/green and green/yellow options known as "Custom Two Tone". While not common on pickups Special Two-Tone was very common on Suburbans through '72.
In Med Olive (code 504) base color trucks the Conventional Two-Tone is code 534 and the Special Two-Tone is code 588 on the SPID.

Re: medium olive and white lwb 72

Medium olive and white is one of my favorite combos, although it's one of the factory colors that didn't hold up as well as the solid non metallic colors. I think mine is pretty typical of what they look like after 40 years.
