Reproduction Cowls???
Can anyone tell me who may supply quality cowls for our beloved 67-72 Chevy trucks?
After browsing through a few of the vendors listed at this site I am drawing a zero. With all of the other body panels and sheetmetal available I would assume someone is making cowls too. Or maybe not??? |

I am not sure if there are aftermarket cowls available or not, but I have never seen them online... I think your best bet would be to find a good used one. I am pretty sure these can be found at a reasonable rate.
my no sense

Thanks guys!
The one in question is not rusted...only slightly dented. I thought that being that I was going to replace inner and outer fenders I might as well replace it too. It should be easy enought to repair the one I have though. Maybe it is time to invest in that 'bullseye pick' tool........ |

not sure about the Middle Tennessee area ... but around here, you can't go to a salvage yard without tripping over cowls. I bought one about 6 months ago to "experiment" with welding up the vents ... I gave $10 for it.

Cowl
Those are like 67-68 grills, not produced aftermarket yet. I have also bought one for $10. I think you should be able to find one reatively easy since they are not bothered by rust usually.
