I have no idea where this part goes. I'm stumped. It looks like it has some type of vacuum lines going to it. Can anyone ID this and take a picture of where it goes? Thanks...

A/C idle bump solenoid when the ac is turned on it bumps the throttle lever on the side of the carb to increase the idle by a couple hundred rpm so the compressor doesn't kill the motor

Transmission controlled spark solenoid, changes spark advance in high gear. The vacuum hose that goes to the distributer goes through it.

Where does it mount and does anyone have a picture of where the vacuum lines run? If the one in the back goes to the distributor, where do the 2 front lines go? Stumped.

It mounts on the intake next to the carb. Unless you're doing a 100% bone stock restoration I would throw it away. Odds are your transmission doesn't have the part in it any longer to control it since they were bad about leaking and most people simply removed them. Also you would need the relays and wiring intact. Its an early emission part that isn't really necessary.

I understand it goes on the right side of the carburetor. The truck retains the original transmission, and we are doing a 100% restoration to original condition.

Do you have pictures of where everything goes or can you guide me in the right direction for the vacuum hoses. Thanks.

My truck had it, but I don't have the 350 in it any more. I might have a pic that shows it, I'll look when I get home. A service manual should have it in it if you can find one. I think there was someone on here that had one in a PDF that they were sending people who asked for it.

Thanks for being so helpful. This really has me stumped. The truck is in Tennessee at the restoration shop and I'm in Louisiana and trying to help Joel figure this out. But it's hard without being there and looking at a picture.
