1970 Blazer
I'm currently torn between whether or not to sell my 1970 Blazer and would like to know what it's worth. It's pretty much been completely gone through mechanically. The body is very sound but the paint is pretty faded. Rather than spending a ton of money on paint I had a body guy fix the small amount of rust there was in the rockers and spray everything below the molding with bedliner. The tub was also done with bedliner. There was only surface rust prior to the inside being sprayed. Having had classic cars painted in the past I've found I don't like to drive them afterwards which I didn't want to be the case with the Blazer. The wheels, bumpers, and spare tire carrier were all powdercoated to match. What's been done mechanically is listed below along with a link to my photobucket album with a bunch of pictures. Everything has been done in the last year
New GM 350 290 HP crate engine Raptor Transmission Turbo 350 new 3.73 gears and Detroit Tru Trac limited slip in rear new body bushings 2 inch Tuff Country lift (all new springs) Rebuilt Q-Jet HEI conversion Replaced D44 with 10 bolt out of an 84 K5...now has front disc brakes New Steering Box New Radiator New Starter etc link to pictures http://s775.beta.photobucket.com/use.../1970%20Blazer |
