Re: advice needed !!!

just my opinion, but since you asked... If nothing else on the truck changes, I would personally stick with a stock interior. If you plan to continue to customize the truck, then a tan leather interior woudl fit in better with the vibe of the truck. As for woodgrain dash, for some reason they just never seem quite "right" to me in a 67 or 68. I can't explain it - and I realize 69/70 never came with a woodgrain dash either, but it's just me.... Personally I wouldn't put the woodgrain in unless, as mentioned above and you plan to continue to customize stuff - but even then, it's customizing with stock stuff off a 71/72, maybe that is why it would seem out of place.

Having said all that - woodgrain dash (and matching glovebox woodgrain, and door trim) is my favorite interior setup. You really can't go wrong, but I would also recommend doing EITHER tan leather OR woodgrain dash - one is a very custom approach (leather) and one is a very stock treatment (woodgrain) - so they would seem to be kind of counter-productive to whatever you're trying to achieve.

Again, all just my pers opinions since you were fishing for input - the bottom line is to do what YOU like, that is all that really matters! What about a set of custom covered buddies? That, imo, would look great in any 67/68.

Btw - I personally love how your truck looks RIGHT NOW - great paint/stance/tire-wheel choice, etc. Excellent overall package.

Re: advice needed !!!

Have ypu thought about tan with a more custom maybe airbrushed or hand painted glove box and gauge cluster? I also feel like going super custom on your seats and very generic on your trim would feel like a misstep in the long run. Also is you wrapped your dash pad and visors in the same leather it would tie in nicely with stock tan door panels. Maybe go with stock black gauges and painted glovebox and a wood steering wheel. Just some ideas. At the end of the day if you like it, it was worth it.
