Trying to decode a 70 12 bolt rearend axle tube is stamped "tph" and then the build date

They must have changed the codes in 71 they are showing tph as a 3/4 ton this truck is a 1/2 ton

how about this one?
the other thing to do is open the cover and count the teeth and divide. or look for a stamping on the gears and still divide. i used this
