Well, that is a bummer but if you are anything like me you have the front clip removed and half the parts ready to get it back on the road.

Re: Wrecked the chevy
I was more worried about her than my truck. She just got her license in December (i`m only 17)and I wrecked it about 3:45 got it home about 6:30 and had the front clip off it about 8:00 .Then I found out the frame was bent so i`m at a stand still until I get the frame straighted . Already got another hood ,inner fender, and radiator support.
Just got to find a fender ,grille ,and bumper. Oh yeah and neither one of us was hurt .She was just shook up.I hugged her after after we loaded my truck up on the gooseneck and said we do alot of stuff together but we don`t need to have no more wrecks together.

Re: Wrecked the chevy
Now that everyone is ok... you have to explain WTF happened??? Did you rear end her (I couldn't think of any way to word it that doesn't sound dirty, sorry) or was it head on??? If you didn't mention another car I would have guessed you hit a tree or pole.

Re: Wrecked the chevy
I met her coming down the hill and I tapped my brakes to slow down to meet her and one of my back brakes locked up and pulled me to the left and She swerved to her left to miss me and we both hit passenger side fenders. She drove me back about ten feet.if she wouldn`t have swerved and if I wouldn`t have got over as quick as I did we would have have hit head on.
Her tuck isn`t in the picture we had already towed it away. Its about in the same shape.

Re: Wrecked the chevy
I am glad that you and your girl are ok after the accident! Let me guess, it was a little slick out when you hit the brakes so it locked up? I refuse to drive my truck when its even a little slick, 4 wheel drums suck!!!

Re: Wrecked the chevy
Oh yeah when I stand on my brake pedal, the truck yanks itself to the right. Its not very safe at all. Gotta love drums. Glad you two are ok.
