just a little bit of a show and tell on my new truck

hey guys,

I just picked up this 59 fleet last night and just wanted to show it off. as time goes by I will start a build thread on it. If you have ever ventured over to the 73-87 section you may have seen my last truck. if so you will know whats in store for this one. if not, here is a LINK

anyways, the truck runs and drives, has a little bit of patchwork that needs to be fixed.

pics.

To be honest I like the '59 much like it is. I'd detail the hell outta the six and keep it because they're novel. Everybody's got a small block - including me. Your truck looks like a survivor. I couldn't chop up one that nice.

Nice survivor, clean it up, detail the engine compartment and enjoy driving it.

Re: just a little bit of a show and tell on my new truck

Very nice. When i was a kid there was the same truck that was used by the local meat market owner. You know that color scheme really does go very well with the truck. Thanks for sharing.

Re: just a little bit of a show and tell on my new truck

You need to throw the new "55-59 Dropmember" under that truck!
It will look killer on the ground!

Re: just a little bit of a show and tell on my new truck

all this talk about detailing and not chopping..... nah....i cant wait for it to be on the ground....the outside is already sweet how it is, but i know you'll "upgrade" the suspension and lay it out. its gonna be sweet....im glad you're back in the truck scene again...i thought we lost ya for a second
