Best suspension lift company?

Who makes the best 4" -6" suspension lift?? And why is it better than the others... the reason i ask is, i just purchased a stock 1985 1 ton long box frame. with dana 60's and 14bolt f.f. im looking to start my frame restoration and dropping my 1 ton 2wd on to it.. i have a 1991 cummins 6bt. i plan on doing a build thread in the spring..

Re: Best suspension lift company?

I have a pro comp 6" on my 85 K10. The springs are a little firm, but it doesn't get too much off road action, just some mud here and then.

Here's my 85:

Re: Best suspension lift company?

Rancho has the best springs IMO. they have good sliders between the leaves, the ends are tapered in thickness and width. i run the 76-87 K30 front spring on my jeep and they are really well behaved. i think they are only 2.5" though.

i have some tuff country on my 72 build, and i cant say they are or are not good. they hold the half built truck up well. they are a little rougher in fit and finish than the ranchos, but still have the same features.

Re: Best suspension lift company?

if your puting a cummins in it get the highest rated ones ive ran procomp but have found that the superlift and skyjacker hold up better and the make a fitted spring for added weight witch work well with the cummins and with the weight of a cummins in it should ride well with and of them but might sag after awaile
