Pulled up the carpet today...

I knew the truck was solid, but you can never tell looking under them with 40+ years of undercoating build up. I was surprised to see the floors in such good shape. I can't really tell if they've been replaced before or not, the only clue to me is the black seam sealer? Is that factory?
I'll have to start my build thread soon, I'm still taking the truck apart and hope to have the cab off this weekend..

If only all of us could of been so lucky, cant wait to see the build thread. But I believe body caulk was used in that seam like every where else on the truck.

Re: Pulled up the carpet today...

Thanks
As for the color, I'm still undecided if I'll repaint the original 2-tone ochre/white, or paint it Medium green/white?

Re: Pulled up the carpet today...

Wish mine looked like that. I pulled up the rubber floor and I was looking at the concrete.

It's a Realistic FM radio that is somehow hooked upto the original AM Radio. I can't get it to hold a station very long, but it does work. The AM radio also works good.

Here are some more pics, I'll save the rest when I start the build thread
