not sure which one to go with, got the parts to go with either, heres a pic of it stock, and a bad photoshop with the new (89-91) style grille.

Re: thoughts on grille for my truck
It would look good either way but I am a fan of the quad light setup or the first pic. That is a really nice lookin truck you have.

Re: thoughts on grille for my truck
I've had them either way. I've even swapped the 89-91 chevy front end on my truck until I got the GMC grille. It's a toss up for me.

Re: thoughts on grille for my truck
I like the 89-91 GMC grilles myself. Also like the 80s duals. You can't go wrong either way.

Those Burb grilles are dated already, keep the 4 lights but get a billet grille, really cleans up the front

Re: thoughts on grille for my truck
KEEP it all GM, whatever you do. Both look great, to me, my first truck was an '86 with dual lamps, While I do like the 89-91 V-series I know the lighting options are more limited and more difficult to put together effective lighting for. The 4x6's in the 85-88 stack have a few more options.

Re: thoughts on grille for my truck
Thanks for all the replies, and compliments guys! i ended up going with the stock grille, figured id just leave it the way it was made, ultra hard decision for me though. had the new style core support and everything painted and ready to go too ha but now i just get to do all the work again to the stock stuff. thanks again!

Re: thoughts on grille for my truck
I'm kinda lazy id leave stock maybe add a billet grill to it.Maybe add a winch bumper or something else to change up the front end looks.

Re: thoughts on grille for my truck
I personally like both but your truck likes fine the way it is i think the only reason i would do that change would be because my truck needs a new front and i just came across a good deal just my opinion

Re: thoughts on grille for my truck
Man, I'm with the majority on both points: Like the original, love the truck. That thing would make "The Fall Guy" jealous.
