Re: what paint code is my truck?

looks like dark olive code 506 - does your truck not have the SPID in the glovebox? Best way to confirm. If not, then I am still pretty sure it's dk olive. 506 is dark olive.

Re: what paint code is my truck?

It really looks like the 506 Dark Olive Metalic. Depending on assembly plant the SPID may clearly have the code or it will have prefix and suffix numbers or letters. For 1970 that color was also availble as a Conventional Two-Tone with a white roof(upper cab) and a Special Two-Tone with both the roof and rockers (below the lower body side molding) white. They both look nice and set the green off well especially if you feel it is too green but want to stay correct. Here are some examples for you. The last truck is not exactly the same color but gives the effect well. Finally the Delux Two-Tone with white between the moldings in addition to the roof is not correct for the 70 down trucks.

Re: what paint code is my truck?

I'm positive it is but it may be a clear coat version. Plus the picture has a little color shift.

Re: what paint code is my truck?

The painter might have added a splash of gold pearl to make it "POP" a little more in the sun.
