Spring rubber spacers
Has anyone ever used the spring rubbers that go in between the coils on the front to stiffen up the ride. Like the ones used in circle track racing. I like my ride height but I have a BB and its a little squishy and bottoms out sometimes

Re: Spring rubber spacers
Circle track guys use spring rubbers for tuning. You would be using them to compensate for a deficiency. I would just get new springs w/the proper spring rate for your big block.
Is it a factory original big block truck?

Re: Spring rubber spacers
I bought cpp lowering springs already and had to cut about 3/4 coil off for the stance I want. It's not bad, I would just like a little stiffer

Re: Spring rubber spacers
If you cut 3/4 of a coil off of a lowered spring, it may be too short now, causing the bottoming out. Did you replace your shocks too? That might help since you have already replaced the springs. Do you have a sway bar? If its "a little squishy" in the turns, a sway bar will be a big improvement.
