Gas cap placement
Hi everyone, new to this site but finding it very helpful. My question is, has anyone put their gas cap in the side marker light or taillight opening? I have put a plastic Blazer replacement tank in the rear of my 72 Custom DeLuxe and I wanted to put mu cap behind the marker or taillight so that it wouldn't be seen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Several have done that here. Go to the search function at the top of the page and search for the posts. There should be several with pics.

Thanks for the quick response, but it won't let me have access to the search page. I am also working on a s10,putting a fuel cell in that, what kind of parts do you use from it? The cap and spout?

Thanks krue, man I just can't get enough of this site. I have my own little collection of 68-72s,and one 70GMC. I am building a S10 with a sbc, thinking about dumping that and sticking with the old ones.
