Rockers and cab
Do any of you need new rockers and cab corners in your trucks? I know it's a stupid question, here in Iowa anyway. I am in need of new ones in my '04 and am looking for a good place to buy "quality" replacement. Any help would be great. I have not looked too hard yet, just p.o. that a 04 looks worse than my
'72 did. |

Re: Rockers and cab
I'll be in the same boat in the next year or so with my '02.....Noticed a couple of "bubbles" forming under the paint on my passenger side rocker...The only info I can give, is stay away from the "slip-on" repair panels...have somebody weld in brand new pieces......

Re: Rockers and cab
The rockers on my 2000 are shot. I went to my local junk yard and had them order me new ones. These are nice and thick, twice as thick as the ones for my 79 were.

Re: Rockers and cab
Check with DA BURB on this site. He specializes in 47-72 trim and body parts but he does carry rockers and cab corners for all our GM trucks up to 07. He is located in Montrose MN. His pricing is very good, the quality of his parts are much better then LMC and he can ship them in the surrounding 7 state area fairly cheap. Bowtie truck stop is the name of his business. Kevin and his wife Lisa run it, very knowledgeable, and friendly people. I've used them to purchase a few things and will continue to in the future. In fact I'm going to order 3 sets of rockers and 2 sets of cab corners next week from him.
