This is one big Box!!!!!!!!!

With all of the discussion on the boards about who will ship what where and who wont. I thought that I would show you guys a box that I built loaded full of parts going to Hawii. (Yes that is a complete cab inside the box, along with a new hood, rear stepside fenders, and other large items. Sometime you got to do what you got to do to service the people who need your products!! I don't try to come up with reasons not to do something, rather I try to come up with solutions... Not too sure on the cost yet, because both the order and size of the box grew since the origanal order. I can tell you it will be more than $200.00..LOL I am still waiting for 2 pieces to come in befor I can close the box up, take it down to the truck stop and weigh it, and then I can call the shippers to get the cost.... Shipping to hawaii

Wes,

you might have been better off going down to matson and getting a small container!!!

I used to shipstuff back and forth from hawaii all the time (cause that is where I am from) used to cost us like 500 bucks for a G container. that would definately have held all of the stuff.

does this stuff happen to be going to you Jay-Dawg??

I am not sure what his board name is. I have 4 customers in Hawii, and board names would throw more confusion in the mix...LOL I did think of the container aspect of it and with pickup and delivery of the container itself the price went up. This way I take it up to Tacoma to the shipping company and hopefully save the customer some money.... WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Gosh WES, I didn't know you could put a whole truck in a box that small.Guess if you pack it inside itself it shrinks.

You could probably compact it into a smaller box than that but I am not sure how long it would take to get all the dents out...LOL!
