What years had optional Houndstooth interior - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I could use some info on what years Chevys came with Houndstooth fabric inserts on the bench seat. I found an orange 71 Cheyenne with orange houndstooth inserts.. Is this a factory option. should i have been black & white houndstooth?

Any pics of what the seat/ insert is supposed to look like would be greatly appreciated

houndstooth was a 71-72 cheyenne super item, i believe it was available in four colors.

you can order a restoration package from G.M. customer assistance that gives a list of options, paint combinations, vendors, etc. i can't find the number right now but i'm sure someone on here will have it, it's been posted a few times in the past.
