Gettin the "Gumby" color?
Hey guys, as yall know Ive been working on doing the fauxtina job on my truck and yesterday I tried a deep blue from paint shop and I ended up not really liking it... Now I really want to get the gumby color going and I think that will be the final try cause I really like that color. Anyone know of a brand that has the spray on gumby color? Just a rattle can will do... Im going to Oreilys today but I dont think Ive seen any cans that have that color with them? Anyone? Thanks

Color Code is 503, but here is the cross reference for DuPont / Matrix you'll likely find at Orileys
http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcod...et+Paint+Codes Also just about any paint store can mix you a couple spray cans. Thay can put any mix into a rattle can, no problem. Have you considered a small touch up gun? Do you have a compressor?

Have the gun, compressors broke at the moment... I have a el cheapo pray gun that is like a touch up gun. But I dont wanna spend all the money on the paint right now... Just gonna get some rattle cans for now, Thanks though! Im gonna check out Oreilys for it then if not ive gotta get the paint.

Re: Gettin the "Gumby" color?
Id check the price of a quart of urethane SS in Matrix or Shopline and just see where youre at. Im pretty sure those mix 2:1 and run about $30-35 qt. Spray cans might end up being a little more expensive.. hard to say. But if your comp is down...
Good luck man Post up some pictures when you can. Posted via Mobile Device
