Re: New to board
Welcome to the forum! Always good to hear about another father/son or father/daughter project. No better way to bond with a kid and teach them valuable skills. Looking forward to photos and progress reports.

Welcome to the forum! Always happy to see a father/son or daughter project. Are you planning on this being his first drive?

Re: New to board
yep, he is already stoked about it! Got some more bracket work done yesterday, mocked it up with dot airline. Is this stuff good or would copper lines be the way to go? This is my first bagged job.

Re: New to board
Being so easy to take apart is one of the benefits of these trucks. I always restored/hot rodded old cars prior to my truck, and dealing with rusty or damaged quarter panels was a real pain in comparison. Nice to see the progress. Sorry I don't know the answer to the air line question.
