ok here is a question for you guys...

I have a 67 3/4 Ton pickup... I am going to convert it to a Short wide bed 1/2T... The question I have is will the suspension from a 1/2T bolt straight onto the chassis of a 3/4t frame or what would need to be changed...

Thanks...

Dan

The best way I have found is to take the whole front cradle from one frame and move it to the other with all the associated parts.

I am sure others will chime in with more info.

I slid a '79 1/2 ton under my '66 c20. I only had to drill two holes and it becomes obvious where to drill when installing.

Yes it will. Swap the upper and lower control arms and steering components tie rods center link etc spindles brakes etc and bolt your 1/2 ton rear end in bleed the brakes and go.

Re: ok here is a question for you guys...

Thanks guys... I am probably going to go with some aftermarket tubular upper and lower A- Arms and I want it to sit lower but not on the ground so maybe a 4" drop spindle...

If you swap a 67-72 complete front crossmember and rear axle it will bolt in. 73-87 require a couple of holes to be drilled and others enlarged
