Body mount question poly squeaks!
I have my 69 gmc 3/4 ton w 396 custom camper. I put new poly mounts and they squeak like a gardners trucks! Should I replace again with rubber or???

Some people grease poly bushings to stop squeaks. I used anti-seize but I didn't do any research.

That's the main reason I don't use poly body mounts.

I used this when I did the Poly suspension on my 4Runner almost a decade ago, still no squeaks and it's my offroad toy. This is what we use in the ROV industry as well, works great. I'd just pull the mounts off and apply liberally then reassembly and forget about them. http://www.marinesan.com/Aqua_Shield_Grease_s/239.htm is also a comparable product. News to me about this replacing Aqualube but makes since now that I think about the last order I placed at work.

Some people go around and drill a hole in the side of the bushing then add a zerk fitting.

one thing to remember the rubber mounts worked many years with no noise. why change a good thing
