Bodyswap
I wonder if I can take mine -62 C10 Paneltruckbody and swap the chassie to an -81 C10 pickupchassie whitout to "much" work on the body or the chassie ?

why not just swap the suspension to the 62 frame. Much easier

This question has been asked many times, and I always discourage swapping to a '73+ frame. I've been there done that and yes it is too much work in my opinion. It is far easier to transfer the front suspension and differential.
