BBC and a TH350 Kickdown bracket?
I have been searching all over on here and can't seem to find what I am looking for. Has anyone had any luck using a throttle rod with a kickdown cable on a big block. I have tried a couple universal ones and a factory one but they all seem to hit the throttle rod at some point in the travel. Any help would be appreciated.

Lol yes it def doesnt need it, but It would be all that much better with it hooked up. I know it made a world of difference when I hooked it up on the small block.

You will have to take a 350 one and fab it up to fit the 454, never seen a t350 behind a big block from the factory

be careful or you'll turn that thing into confetti, theres a reason they stuck th400's behind bbcs

Re: BBC and a TH350 Kickdown bracket?
I tried the 350 one that mounts on the back side of the carburator, it hits the throttle rod. Tried the universal kind that bolts onto the LR bolt. it hits the trottle rod. Does anyone know of a kickdown braket that had an adjustment up and down? I really dont want to have to weld something up if I don't have to. So far no issues with the 350 but I havent been really hard on it. Plus I only have 265's on it so far, so it spins before it does anything.

Re: BBC and a TH350 Kickdown bracket?
The lokar stuff is nice, but I can do a lot of fab work for what they cost. I think I am going to try and fab something up of my own design. I will post up pics of the finished product.

Not to rain on your parade, but you might not want to hook that up. It will only increase your chances of destroying your Th350. I have a BBC in my truck and I've already shattered parts inside mine.

Went with the Lokar set up for my TH400 on the BBC. Worth the bucks because it works great.
