Shiny new pieces....
Got these today....Let the cutting begin. We start tomorrow.
and the new trans was finished a couple weeks ago..... The axle uses the Explorer discs which have the drum e-brake located internally...nice and clean. |

Ford right? 8.8? One of my Jeep buds put a 8.8 high pinion in the back of his rig. He loves it.

may I ask how much that rear end cost you? I'm looking at options for the 12-bolt rear on my truck

its a 9" from currie enterprises....$2300
Most importantly its a custom width, I eliminated the 6 lug, eliminated the low gears, moved from drum to discs, and the axle came with everything but the gear oil, the e-brake cables, hoses, brake pads all ready to go. Im usually more of a junkyard kind of guy, but too many benefits added up and made me splurge a little. |

Duh. Yeah I meant 9" high pinion. He even got it from Currie 'Nother Jeep guy did an 8.8

A friend bought a custom F@rd 9" currie for his Camero. It slide in soooo nice, no fuss no muss Fit Perfect. Looks Great, I like the wheels, what are they?
