1972 C10 Bulid Date and Blue Door Decal
Hi all, I have a 1972 Cheyenne short bed. VIN CE142S104442, would anyone have any idea what month/year this truck might have been built? If I am reading the VIN right this was the 4442 truck built in 1972. So would a 7/71 or 8/71 build date be any where near correct? Also does anyone know of person who makes the blue vin decal that goes inside the drivers side door face?
Thanks Eddie |

Re: 1972 C10 Bulid Date and Blue Door Decal
Yours would be an early build for sure but I think it will be a 9/71 due to the summer changeover shutdown. What is the block build date and casting date. Do you have protect-o-plate?
