Northeast guy CL 71 shortbox (not mine)

Looks to be a pretty decent truck for the money.. Wish it was around when I was looking.

I am near that truck if anyone wants me to go look at it, just wonder why a 71 had a 5 lug conversion?

Re: Northeast guy CL 71 shortbox (not mine)

it hasn't had a 5 lug conversion, it IS a 5 lug truck originally - seller is mistaken, he's probably used to dealing with pre-71 C10s that were 6 lug from the factory, that's all. he also thinks it is a Cheyenne. looks like a Custom Deluxe to me. Nice truck and the price isn't bad at all for a Custom D shorty that doesn't look to be rotted. I'd say it's a GREAT deal for someone in Maine trying to find something like this - most the stuff up there is rusted from the road salt. As long as you know what you're looking for and at, could be a great deal for an interested buyer.

I agree... Sounds like a smokin deal with the new bed.
