Finally got some new radial tires (Treadwright remolds)
Finally got some good tires on the back of my truck today. If anyone is curious, they are Treadwright Crawler MT 235/85R16 remolds on some 80's GM 3/4 ton wheels. They cost me $263 to my door, for the pair. So far I'm liking them. Not real loud (I can't hear them over the wind @ 55, anyway), should do real good offroad, and being nice, new, soft rubber, they seemed to grip the road well when I got on the brakes. The dried out old bias 7.50-17's didn't do that too well. They measure 32" tall, and at 60PSI I got 645 revolutions per mile. The 7.50-17's were 33-1/2" and about 615 for comparison. More pictures here if anyone wants to see them: http://s1067.photobucket.com/user/66...0C-30%20Pickup |

They certainly look like they can get the job done. It's always nice to have new matching rubber on the road.
